My time on Groote Eylandt - Angurugu, Alyangula and Umbakumba.
would have one of the best experiences I have ever had. People are friendly, plenty of camping and fishing and if your into it there is 4x4 driving and boating.  Oh and there is a great golf course which is not really good for the people like myself who are golf challenged. I spent most of time in the water looking for my balls while looking out for the stray croc that may have come over for a walk. Schooling is excellent and facilities are great given the size of the town which belongs to BHP.
